INDIAN NAVAL SHIP CHENNAI 5000 PEOPLE VISITED

INS Chennai, a P 15A Guided Missile Destroyer, commissioned into the Indian Navy in November last year is in Chennai city on her maiden visit yesterday. The ship is part of the Western Fleet under the administrative control of the Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Western Naval Command, Mumbai.

INS Chennai was received with lot of warmth and affection by the people of Chennai. Ship was open to visit by students and people of Chennai for two days on 15th and 16th April . Approximately 2000 students and 3000 people visited the ship named after the port city of Chennai. Publics visit to the ship concluded today.
