Chennai, January 2019:The month of March is usually seen as the most stressful month in the year for the students especially appearing for the Board Exams. The ‘Exam Fear’ and the pressure to perform better than before, always keeps looming over their heads. Heartfulness through the initiative“The Wise Step – Overcome Exam Fear”over a period of 1 month will reach out to more than 200 schools in Chennai. This initiative was unveiled at a program at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Hr. Sec. School, T Nagar, Chennai.Dr. A. Kalanidhi, Former Vice Chancellor of Anna University graced the event as the Chief Guest. Also present at the session were Mr. S. Prakash, Secretary to the President and Zone Coordinator, Chennai Metro Zone, Heartfulness Institute.
Heartfulness has specially developed a one-hour module for the students of 10th, 11th and 12th standards appearing for the Board exams. The module will help the students to prepare with a stress-free mind, develop their memory power and go through the exams with confidence. The enabling module would comprise of techniques for relaxation during the preparation, Emotional Intelligence, Self-management techniques, exam taking approach along with handling tougher questions efficiently, Health-management to avoid wellbeing issues, etc.The campaign will be extensively run till February end in over 200 schools in Chennai and will touch the lives of approximately 50,000 students in a positive way in this Exam season.
