Chennai, January, 2018 : Meera, from the house of CavinKare today announced its association with AVTAR group to support Project Puthri, an initiative to empower girl students from underprivileged sections. As part of this initiative, the brand has extended its support to 200 puthris from various corporation schools for this year, 2018.

Project Puthri is an initiative launched by AVTAR Human Capital Trust, the CSR Arm of gender parity pioneer AVTAR Group on National Girl Child Day 2017. Meera being a household name in Tamil Nadu has been synonymous with mother-daughter relationship. With the support from Meera, Project Puthri will nurture the young puthris towards a bright future.
